• The insurer will indemnify you against the repair, replacement, or alteration of covered items within those described in an MOT Inspection Report (VT30) which prevents the vehicle specified on the schedule from being issued with a valid MOT certificate.
• There is a maximum claim limit of £500 which includes parts, labour, and applicable VAT to rectify any works covered on the relevant MOT failure notice.

Conditions of Insurance

• You have a 14-day cooling off period during which to read the policy schedule and conditions of insurance satisfies your cover requirements.
• An administration service fee (excess) of £20 per claim will be adjusted to the claim value.

Are there any restrictions on cover?

• There is a maximum claim limit of £500 which includes parts, labour, and applicable VAT to rectify any works covered on the relevant MOT failure notice.
• Failure to service your vehicle in line with the manufacturer’s recommendations will not invalidate this insurance. However, this insurance will not cover faults attributable to or caused by lack of routine or regular maintenance.
• To qualify for cover, your vehicle must have at least 90 days current MOT, or if the vehicle is under 3 years old, be more that 90 days from its MOT due date.
• This insurance only comes into effect when your vehicle is within 30 days of its next MOT due date.
